Our staff include licensed professional engineers (P.E.) in all design disciplines (mechanical, electrical, structural, and instruments and controls) as well as professionals in procurement, construction management, start-up and commissioning , and asset management/O&M.

Lou Gonzales
President & Owner
Lou has over 40 years of experience; including over 25 years of executive management in steam and power, industrial, and pulp and paper projects. He has held positions of overall responsibility from project development to design/build, EPC and corporate management where he was fully responsible for profit and loss, division management, turnkey contract execution, acquisition of existing project assets, and profitable, on-schedule project completion. Lou has successfully managed numerous development, design, engineering, procurement, construction, and operation projects.
Ryan Paul, P.E.
Director of Engineering
Ryan is licensed Professional Engineer with expertise in mechanical engineering and technical oversight of projects through all FEL phases and into detailed design, procurement, and construction support. Ryan has executed projects in Power Generation, Renewable Energy, Combined Heat and Power, Heavy Industrial, and Combined Cycle/Data Centers. As Director of Engineering, he oversees a diverse portfolio of domestic and international engineering projects across North America, Central America, Europe, and Africa with responsibility for technical design, quality and execution across all disciplines. Ryan received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and is a licensed professional engineer in Kansas, Missouri, Texas, California, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Arizona and Iowa.
Michael Drackert, P.E.
Director of Projects
Michael serves as Director of Projects of PPS Services Group. He oversees a diverse portfolio of domestic and international engineering projects with responsibility for all aspects of the project management and delivery process. Michael is a key customer interface during the estimating, negotiation, and execution phases.
A licensed Professional Engineer with expertise in project management, Michael has executed large capital projects in Power Generation, Renewable Energy, Combined Heat and Power, and Heavy Industrial through all FEL phases and into detailed design, procurement, and construction support. He holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and Master of Business Administration for the University of Missouri.
Tyler Wilson
Manager of Engineering
Tyler has over 15 years of engineering experience in power generation, industrial facilities, and carbon capture projects, with a background in detailed design, technical consulting, and project execution support. His experience includes engineering and design services for complex energy and industrial applications, with a focus on design development, procurement support, estimating, and project management. Tyler’s work emphasizes detailed engineering, FEED studies, estimating, and construction and installation support throughout the project development, design, and construction phases. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology and is a licensed professional engineer.
Joshua Bedsworth
Manager of Design
Josh has over 11 years of power industry experience, including experience with production detailed design and construction field operations. His background includes roles such as mechanical designer, lead designer, and field engineer. Josh is operating as the manager of design, overseeing all of the designers & drafters for all disciplines. This includes project staffing, career development, department standards, quality, & project execution. Josh received his B.S. In Design and Drafting Technologies at the University of Central Missouri.
Kevin Gallagher
Senior Project Manager
Kevin is a Licensed Professional Engineer with over 12 years of experience in combined and simple cycle power plant design and project management. He is experienced in leading engineering teams on fast-paced projects. Kevin also maintains a strong client interface, serving as a clear and reliable point of contact throughout all project phases. Kevin excels at translating complex engineering requirements into actionable solutions, ensuring clients feel informed and supported. Kevin received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from University of Kansas and is a licensed professional engineer in Kansas, Iowa, Utah and Nebraska.
Shauna Gonzales
Manager of project Administration
Shauna brings over 30 years of experience in engineering project and office administration, with a strong track record of leading multi-person administrative teams across disciplines. She has supported the growth and transition of multiple Kansas City engineering firms through effective leadership and operational expertise. As Manager of Project Administration, Shauna ensures seamless project communication and documentation, both internally and externally. She partners closely with project managers to support efficient execution and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle. Her expertise in document control systems helps align engineers, contractors, and clients—driving clarity, consistency, and successful project delivery.
Nicky Haney
Business Manager
Nicky serves as our Business Manager, bringing over 25 years of experience in business management with a strong background in finance, business administration, human resources, and operational support. Prior to joining the engineering industry, she built her career within the healthcare sector, developing extensive expertise in organizational management, employee support, financial processes, and team coordination.
At PPS, Nicky plays a critical role in supporting the company’s day-to-day operations and continued growth. She oversees key business functions including HR administration, accounts payable and receivable, office operations, vendor coordination, and workplace resources that keep the PPS team running efficiently.
Stephanie Gonzales
Director of Strategic Initiatives
Stephanie serves as Director of Strategic Initiatives at PPS Services Group, where she leads cross-functional efforts to support the company's growth, including marketing, business development, recruiting, employee engagement, and other strategic initiatives. With a background in building globally recognized consumer brands, she brings a fresh, market-driven perspective to the engineering industry. Prior to joining PPS, Stephanie held marketing leadership roles with Under Armour, adidas, and Reebok, leading integrated marketing strategies, experiential activations, and large-scale field organizations across the Americas. She holds a B.A. in Communications from the University of Pennsylvania.
