Marshall, Missouri
PPS Services Group is providing detailed engineering and design services, construction support, and startup and commission advisory services for Missouri Joint Municipal Electric Utility Commission (MJMEUC) on the Marshall Energy Center simple cycle project. Marshall Energy Center is being designed and constructed in two phases with the first phase consisting of two (2) Solar Titan 250 combustion turbine generators and the second phase consisting of two (2) Solar Titan 350 combustion turbine generators, both phases in dual fuel configuration (natural gas and fuel oil). The project includes a 161kV electrical switchyard which ties into the Southwest Power Pool (SPP) transmission grid and will deliver approximately 120 MW of power once both phases are online. The plant will serve as a peaking plant to provide additional capacity during peak electrical consumption and added reliability during the winter months.
