PPS Services Group provided the detailed design engineering as part of an EPC team with ProEnergy for the addition of two General Electric LM6000 combustion turbine generators. The plant will be used as a peaking plant to supplement the wind and solar power production.
The Project included a 138kv Electrical Switchyard with two (2) dead-end towers which tie-in to the existing substation. The Project is a fast-track project, being engineered, procured, and constructed in less than 6 months to meet summer peak demands.
