Biomass Torrefaction Facility
The Facility will produce a nominal 12 TPH (Tons per Hour) of torrefied wood pellets and/or briquets to be used as an alternate fuel for coal or biomass fired energy projects.
The facility includes material conveying, belt drying system, rotary drum torrefier, cooling system, hammermills, and a boiler system producing 50,000 pph steam at 150 psig and 400 °F.
The project is the largest commercial torrefaction facility in North America.
